Lord Mayor’s Get Active Challenge – May 27th
Join Lord Mayor Andrew Montague this May 27th for his fitness challenge. This is an event aimed at people of all fitness abilities where you can walk, run or cycle, or even try a bit of all three. The purpose of this event is to get people involved in organised fitness, particularlay those not familiar with such a setting.

Stephen’s Green 200 – 26th Apr
This event will see 48 participants cycle in tandem for 24 hours non stop around St Stephen’s Green in Dublin. Starting at lunch time on April 26th and finishing the following lunch time this event is being run to raise money for the Marc Owens Medical Fund.
The route exactly a mile long and organisers estimate that cyclist will cover roughly 9 loops per hour.

The Big Red Bike Ride – June 9th-16th
Join Man Utd legends Brian McClair, David May, Clayton Blackmore and our very own Denis Irwin plus a few celebrity guests as you cycle an approx 592 mile route from Malin to Mizen head and then on to Dublin via Monaghan. Dublin – London Cycle Challenge – July 7th-12th
Join the Irish Hospice Foundation as they cycle this July from Dublin to London. The team will cover approx 530km over five days cycling through Snowdonia National Park, the Shropshitre borderlands, Worcester and the Cotswolds before finishing in Windsor on July 11th. Mercy Foundation Fort 2 Fort Cycle – Apr 1st
This charity cycle will begin at Trabolgan Holiday Village, cycle alongside Cork Harbour and then finish up at Fort Camden in Crosshaven with cyclists choosing from a 50km or 80km route. The 80km will contain some “nice” climbs en route.
The cycle is in aid of the Mercy University Hospital Foundation and the Lions Club.

Ring of Kerry Cycle – July 7th
Take part in one of Irelands largest charity events this summer by cycling the magnificent Ring of Kerry. Thousands of cyclists converge on Kerry year after year for this popular event which sees cyclists cover 112 miles in one day and all for a good cause.

Mondello Cycle Challenge: Round the World in One Day – Jan 21st
The Mondello Cycle Challenge: Round the World in One Day will see hopefully in excess of 250 cyclists cycle the 3.5km lap circuit of Mondello Race Track for up to 6 hours with the goal of collectively covering in excess of 18,000 miles. Brush off the cobwebs for this early year cycle. Two options on offer, a 100km tour from Kilcornan, Clarinbridge, Co. Galway to Carron and back or a 60km tour to Ballyvaughan and back.

The annual Kevin King Tour will take place this November 6th in aid of Cancer Research. This is a fun race and the speed will be controlled and it is open to all levels of cyclist. There will be two distances available on the day a 100km route and a 50km route.
